Keeping safe week

Next week is St Thomas’ keeping safe week where we highlight issues such as bullying.  Our assemblies will focus on raising awareness of how children can enjoy their playtimes and seek help when there are problems. We will also talk about E-Safety on the internet, mobile phones and keeping safe on the streets.

Not only will we talk about keeping safe but we will highlight the posters we have created which are on display in the café and are easily accessible to children.

Anti-bullying – Bullying is when name calling or physical harm happens repeatedly. Sometimes children feel scared to tell someone that it’s happening so we will be encouraging everyone to including bystanders to stand up for the victims. Our main message will be ‘tell an adult if you are worried about something’.

Together we can make things better.
