Weekly Challenge!

For this weeks challenge I would like you to pick a country in Africa and see what you can find out about it.

What does the flag look like? What is its population? What countries border it?

What animals live there? What currency does it use? If you were to fly there, how long would it take? Is that country famous for anything in particular?

You could present this in any way you like, possibly a poster with drawings, or a fact file or a piece of non fiction writing.

When you have completed your presentation - send it to me at info@st.rbkc.sch.uk with your name and Y4.

Stay safe and keep smiling!

Mr Finch

Hello Year 4!

I hope you have all had a good Easter holiday. Getting back to your learning can be tricky after having some time off. Make sure you go back to a routine or timetable on weekdays, and that you stick to it – it makes everything much easier. Do some online learning every day – a bit of each subject. When you are done, go and do some exercise, try and get fresh air in whichever way you can, and play. Give yourself a balanced day and you won’t get bored!

Each week I am going to set you a project or research challenge.

This week I would like you to find as much information as you can and make a fact-file full of information, pictures and maybe even a poem about an endangered animal. You can handwrite and draw or you can use a computer - be creative and make it your own!

If you are feeling particularly proud of your presentation, ask a grown-up to send it to info@st.rbkc.sch.uk with your name, class and project title and I may even share it on here for your friends to see!

Keep smiling!

Mr Finch

● How people survive in extreme weather and conditions such as storms
● We’ll learn to read maps
● Not only will we be learning how animals survive in different environments but how they have adapted to be successful survivors.
